*Be Free Indeed*

The Jews protested, when the master told them that they shall know the truth and the truth shall make them free. "They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?" (John 8:33).
Little do they know about what the Master was saying, they were relating the natural with spiritual things. Jesus had to further expound to enlightened their understanding on the matter. "Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin." (John 8:34).
You may not be in bondage to anyone in physical, but being a slave to sin. The perpetual committing of sin, shows that one is still the servant of sin. And the servant abides not in the house forever, but the Son does. It's who the Son sets free, that will be free indeed. The ultimate freedom which cut across every areas of life is found in Christ Jesus.

I give you praise dear Lord, for the hope of freedom from the bondage of sin and death. I acknowledge that you are the Truth, which can set me free and I'm free indeed, in Jesus name. Amen!
