 *Worship: The Gateway in Prayer*

The Lord Jesus Christ, taught His disciples the particular manner after which they should pray. The Lord's prayer highlights the scope, which prayer should cover, starting with worship.

Worship opens the portals of heaven to have access into the supernatural realm. An arrogant heart cannot approach the throne room in prayer. The worship of Yahweh, takes the first place in entering into the presence of God.

In the earthly kingdom, anyone coming into the palace to visit the king, comes in reverencing the king. The yorubas will say, "Kabiesi o." In the book of Daniel, they reverence the king of Babylon by saying; 'O king, live for ever.' Worship appease the heart of the King and grant access to the worshipper.

The supernatural gateway in prayer is worship. It ushers you into the presence of God. The psalmist said; "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name." (Psalms 100:4). Don't first approach His presence with your requests, because He even already knows your needs. Open the way into His presence with worship.

Lord, I thank you and I'm so grateful for the gift of life. 'Hallowed be thy name, heavenly Father.' Let my worship ascends up to heaven, in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
