Colossians  3:20 _"Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.  3:21 Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged."_

 *Obedience to the Parent*

Each and every adult today, are once a child and some would have regretted in life, if they have disobeyed their parents while they were young. Every successful child must have passed the test of obedience, while under the parents.

Parents have an oversight over the children. They see life ahead of you, their years of experience with life is not a joke. There is no responsible parent, that will not want their children to be successful and even surpassed their level of achievement.

Children are to be submissive and obedient to their parents in all things. A disobedient child is joking with a glorious future. Disobedience is witchcraft and a spirit of rebellion is at work leading to destruction. "He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy." (Proverbs  29:1).

It’s well pleasing to the Lord, when children are obedient to their parents. Even, our Lord Jesus Christ learned obedience. "Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;" (Hebrews  5:8). Fathers also, should take caution; they should not provoke their children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

Thank you Almighty Father, for all we your children. We pray for an obedient heart to yield and follow instructions, that will lead and guide us through our entire journey in the world successfully, in Jesus name. Amen!
