The role of parents in the success of their children cannot be over emphasized. Some parents doesn't have the charisma to encourage and mentor their children to succeed in life, rather they demoralized them with insultive and negative words. Parents should be careful with the kind of words, they say to their children.

We can't be a good mentor, without the help of the Holy Spirit. Children can be silly, but it takes wisdom to correct in love and put them on the right track. Mentoring is not just by words of mouth but with actions and deeds. Some children are not dull, as some may think but they need courage to rise above the level of mediocrity.

One of the great way to mentor children is to be an encourage, like King David was to Solomon his son; Giving the children assurance and possibility to accomplish something they might see as impossible or difficult. They will definitely be grateful to have such parents, who understands their weaknesses and able to provide necessary support to overcome and reach their glorious dreams in the future.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for the great wisdom in your word. I receive the right heart to mentor and encourage children to be successful and become great achievers, in Jesus name. Amen!
