1 Chronicles 28:20

 _"David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished."_

 *Courage to Excel: The assurance of God's Presence.*

King David cheered up his son, Solomon to take up the challenge of building the temple for God. He was to do that which his father wasn't permitted to do. He was to step into the 'big task' probably beyond his human capacity and ability. He needed courage to excel in this great task. Thank God for the father's words of encouragement, stirring up his heart to accomplish what might seems impossible.

David assured Solomon his son of the presence of God and on which basis he should not be afraid or discouraged. Moses the servant of God, valued the presence of God in leading the great people of Israel. He was not ready to move an inch, if the LORD won't go with them. "And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence." (Exodus  33:15).

The assurance of God's presence in whatever that a man does, means a lot to been successful. When challenges arise, His presence will bring comfort and courage to keep moving forward. Once the Lord is with you, He will not fail or forsake you until you have accomplished whatsoever you lay your hands to do. You'll enjoy the best of God, if you are in His will and purpose for your life.

Heavenly LORD, your name is wonderful and powerful. I receive courage to excel and prosper in whatsoever I do. I'm assured of Your presence and I shall never be ashamed, in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
