1 Peter  1:3 

 _"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,  1:4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,  1:5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."_

 *New Birth into A Living Hope*

The abundant mercy of God has begotten us into a living hope, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. We are raised up together with Christ, through baptism into a living hope of eternal inheritance.

A believer experiences the new birth, when he/she believes the gospel and receive Christ, as personal Lord and Savior. You become born again into this lively hope, through the incorruptible seed of the word of God.

You are called, 'to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you..,' The mind of the new man in Christ Jesus must be renewed and set on the things above, not just on things that fades away with time. The essence of the new birth is to catch the glimpse of the living hope and make it a personal pursuit to take hold of the eternal inheritance and promises.

I give you praise and glory Heavenly Father, for your abundant mercy. Please, help me to never lose sight of the living hope wherein I'm called, in Jesus name. Amen!
