1 Chronicles 28:20

 _"David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished."_

We considered the above verse of the scripture not quite long and it is coming to us again today. There are times when fear creeps in to hinder you from stepping into fulfilling God's plan and purpose for your life. You have to confront your fears with faith to silent it and make progress.

Peter asked, if he could come to Jesus by walking on water like he saw the master did and he was bid to come. He took the step of faith and started walking on water towards Jesus but became afraid when he saw the boisterous wind, he had lose focus on the one who bid Him to come and began to sink. He then cried out, Lord save me. "And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?" (Matthew  14:31)

Fear and discouragement is a common weapon that the enemy uses to distract men of purpose. You have to be determined with faith not to allow your fears to stop you to do what is needed to be done. Don't be discouraged, press on to have good success. There's an assurance of the presence of the Lord.

Thank you Lord for the blessings and encouragement through your words. I pray for courage to face my fears and do that which you have bid me to do, in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
