_"And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down."_

*The Haughty Shall be Brought Low*
◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾
The humble are often vulnerable to being afflicted, but the scripture said that, the Lord shall save the afflicted people. The eyes of the Lord are upon the humble to lift them out of the dungeon and make them to sit in high places.
The eyes of the Lord are also upon the haughty heart. He sets a watch upon them, that He may bring them down. They might seem prosperous at first, but will suddenly be brought down low. Their riches and possessions in which they trust is vanity, it won't be able to save them in the day of God's wrath.
It is unprofitable to be haughty or proud. Man will always be man and God will always be God. The Lord Himself will deal severely with the proud in heart, but He will have compassion on the humble. "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise." (Psalms 51:17). The haughty person has no place or acceptance in the sight of God.

Be thou exalted oh Lord, for your loving-kindness. I ask for forgiveness in any way I'm haughty. I pray that you renew the right Spirit within me, in Jesus name. Amen!
