"But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.  22:20 Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.  22:21 Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.

The Urgency of Help

There are times of exigency, when it is not in the power of any man to help, even though they are willing to do something. There are issues of life, that can only be resolved between you and God. It's your personal relationship with the LORD, that will bail you out at such point of urgency. 

You have to be sure He is present with you in all circumstances, through the thick and thin. You don't trade His presence for anything. His presence should matter most to us in anything we do. The moment you observe a gap in your fellowship and intimacy with God quickly bridge it, because it can cost you so much in the time of urgent need for help. 

'Be not far from me oh LORD.' He is your strength in the midst of trouble and trials. He can reach out quickly to us, when He is near. 'Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon him while He is near.' (Is. 55:6). There's no amount of shout, that can reach Him when He is far away. Your heart is the closest arena to God, you might not even need to shout before you can be heard. He listen to your heart cry, when He is close by. 

Do you need urgent help? The LORD is not far away from any of us, like it was shared with us yesterday. But, how closer is your heart to Him? Are you looking up elsewhere for help? Maybe unto the hills, or probably don't know where does your help comes from. Our help will come from the Lord, who made the heaven and the earth. Other help may fail, but He won't disappoint anyone that fully trust in Him.

 I praise you Father for your goodness. I receive help from above now by faith. Come quickly oh Lord to help me and take away every sickness, pain, weaknesses and reproaches, in Jesus name. Amen!!!
