 *Power for Effective Witnessing of Christ*

 Acts  1:8 

 _"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth._

The Lord Jesus Christ informed the disciples, that they would receive power for an effective witness of Him to the whole world. The power came along with the baptism of the Holy Ghost. They can't do much or go extra mile for the Lord, without the endowment of the power from on high. They needed supernatural power to accomplish the great commission given to them, before Christ's departure from the earth. They were instructed not to leave Jerusalem, until the Holy Ghost and power comes upon them. It's the power of God that can make us effective in fulfilling the divine mandate, as followers of Christ. Every genuine disciples of Jesus Christ has the responsibility to make Christ known in every part of the globe, beginning from the immediate environment. The power automatically gives the drive to fulfill God's missions in the earth. 

🙏PRAYER POINTS 🙏

♦️Thank you Abba Father, for the grace to be called and chosen.

♦️It is not by power nor by might but by Your Spirit. Thank you for the divine enablement to fulfill purpose. 

♦️I therefore ask for divine power to become effective in my calling and fulfilment of the great commission. 

♦️I do not want to excuse myself from taking responsibility concerning the heavenly mandate. Help me Lord to be found faithful. 

♦️I receive the Spirit of boldness to proclaim the gospel, even in the face of persecution in Jesus name. 

♦️I will not deny Jesus. I receive grace and power to withstand threats from every opposition, in Jesus name. 

♦️I receive power for signs, wonders, and miracles to show forth the power and glory of God. 

♦️I receive divine enablement to preach Christ and make Him known to the ends of the earth, in Jesus name. 

♦️I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation to all who believed. 

♦️Lord, empower me to do greater works in my generation, in Jesus mighty name. Amen!!!
