Isaiah  65:17 

 _"For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind."_ 

 *#The Former shall not be Remembered* 

This is a brand new year. 'Old things are passed away, behold all things are become new.' It is a new beginning for you. You got a new blank card to write how the future will look like. Don't keep revering to the former things that have passed, start afresh and move on  with life. The new thing that God is doing in your life, will not give room for the former things to come into your mind. 

Do you have any disappointment in the past year? maybe in your relationship. Someone, might have walked out of your life, but that's not the end of the world. You might have loss opportunities in the past year and things looks very tough in the past. Don't pay much attention to the former, look forward to a new thing that God is about doing in your life. 

If, you held unto the former things, it might be difficult to see the new things. The former can block and hinder you from seeing the new and better opportunity. You must let go the former to welcome and embrace the latter. 'The glory of the latter house shall be greater than the former.' God cannot lie, He will do for you that which He has said to do.

I'm grateful Lord for your goodness and mercies upon my life. I thank you Lord for the new year and new opportunities. I pray for grace to forget the hurts of the past and to move on in the direction of your ordained plan and purpose for my life, in Jesus name. Amen!
