Isaiah  37:33 

 _"Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank Against it.  37:34 By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD.  37:35 For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake."_

It is important to intercede for the city where we live, so that things may go well and that we may enjoy peace. The LORD averted the evil plots of Sennacherib the king of Assyria against the city of Jerusalem and Judah at large, because king Hezekiah prayed. The word of the Lord came through the mouth of prophet Isaiah, concerning the king of Assyria, that he shall not come into that city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank Against it. God took away the reproach of the children of Israel, because of the humble prayer of a man, who happened to be their King. He took responsibility in the place of prayer for his people and they were delivered. What a great turn around and peace our city will experience, if our leaders can seek the face of God and intercede for the land. 

🙏PRAYER POINTS🙏

♦️Be thou exalted oh Lord above the heavens and let your glory be above all the earth. 

♦️Let your kingdom come oh Lord and your will be done in our city

♦️We terminate every evil plots and agenda against this city, in Jesus name. 

♦️Heal this land oh Lord and turn every source of bitterness to sweetness in Jesus name. 

♦️I pray against every evil altars raised against the development of this city. Be broken into pieces, in Jesus name. 

♦️Father, turn back the enemy that has rose up against this city for war, the way they have come in Jesus name. 

♦️No weapon formed against this city shall prosper. We destroy every weapon of war against this land and proclaim peace in Jesus name. 

♦️We receive divine wisdom for the governor and other leaders in our city, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 

♦️We pray that our leaders shall rule and govern with the fear of God, in Jesus name. 

♦️We banish every idols from our city. We shall serve and worship only the living God, in Jesus name. 

♦️Father, defend this city to save it from the hands of the wicked, in Jesus mighty name. Amen!!!
