Luke  2:6 

 _"And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.  2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn."_ 

 *#The Time came for the Baby to be Born* 

The mother of Jesus had been carrying the pregnancy of the baby for nine months and the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. It was about the time, when a decree went out from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. 

Everyone, went into his city to be taxed. Joseph went up from Galilee out of the city of Nazareth to Judea, unto the city of David, because he was of the house and lineage of David. He went there to be taxed with his espoused wife, being great with child. (Vs. 4-5).

The time came for the baby Jesus to be born, while they were there. They might not have seen it forth coming right there, probably thinking she can cope, till they get back to where they came from. The environment couldn't be an hindrance to the birth of the King. The baby was brought forth there, wrapped in a swaddling clothes and laid in a manger, because  there was no room for them in the guest room. It was actually, that the prophecy of His birth might become fulfiled.

The factor of timing matters a lot in God's plan. There's absolutely nothing that can hinder the manifestation of His will and purpose at the appointed time. He makes everything to work out, according to His divine plan and purpose. The Lord Jesus is not only for a high class people. He was born in a manger to identify with the low class people and create room for them in His kingdom. He came for all.

I worship you my Lord and my God. I'm grateful for the birth of Jesus Christ. I pray that, as we celebrate His birth, may the purpose of His birth be impressed upon the table of our hearts to comprehend the depth of His love towards us, in Jesus name. Amen!
