Micah 5:2
_"But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting."_
*#The Little Bethlehem Ephratah*
The birth of King Jesus in Bethlehem Judah wasn't by mistake. It has been prophesied long time ago by prophet Micah. The Spirit of God revealed unto him the great event that shall happen in such a place that people might least expected.
Bethlehem was little out of the thousands of towns in Judah, but it was the will of God to bring forth unto Himself the messaiah, that is to be ruler in Israel. Further more, the King was not born in a very good looking and highly esteemed place in Bethlehem. He was born in the manger, because there was no room in the inn.
The going forth of the chosen ruler of Israel has been from old, from everlasting. He was right there in beginning of creation, all things were created through Him and for Him. The One who was, is and is to come. Yet, it was out of the little Bethlehem Ephratah in Judah, that He came forth.
The LORD chooses things despised by men to confound the wisdom of men. Don't allow your background to put your back on the ground. Rise up to fulfill your God's ordained destiny, inrrespective of where you came out from. The little Bethlehem couldn't limit the glory of the ruler that was born there to rule the world, the three wise men saw the star from the far east and came with gifts to worship the King that was born in a manger.

Father, in the name of Jesus. I give you praise and glory for your Son, Jesus Christ, whom you sent to the world to save us. I pray that all people shall acknowledge Him and come to see His glory. Amen!
