Isaiah  9:6 

 _'For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."_ 

 *#The Gift of God to the World* 

A special child was born to the world and a Son was given unto us. He is the greatest gift of God to humanity. The Father didn't spare His only begotten Son, but freely gave Him unto us, as a ransom for our souls. How deep the Father's love for us and how vast beyond all measures, that He gave us His only begotten Son. 

The government shall be upon the shoulder of the Son of God and He shall reign forever. The system of His government is different from the world's system. The foundation of His kingdom is righteousness and truth. There shall no more be any oppression, everyone shall be brought into the glorious liberty of the children of God. (Rom. 8:21). It's such a divine government that all nations should anticipate. 

Every tribe and tongue shall be brought under His Lordship. He was born to be a King, but His kingdom is not of this world. He is coming back again to rule the new world. 'Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.' Meditate on the name that He shall be called; 'Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Almighty God, I thank you for the precious gift of your Son, Jesus Christ. I surrender my life under His divine government. I pray you have your way in my life, family, church, and nations, in Jesus name. Amen!
