Genesis 49:9
_"Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? 49:10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be."_
*#The Gathering of the People shall be Unto Him*
Jacob gathered his sons together, when he was about to die. He prophesied what shall befall each of them in the last days. He began from the oldest son which was Reuben and came to the turn of the fourth son named Judah. The first prophecy was that Judah is a lion's whelp, by revelation we should understand who actually he was referring to which is the one and only Lion of the tribe of Judah.
He was speaking prophetically about the emergence of the Lion that shall come forth of the tribe of Judah. Who shall rouse Him up? He further said, the sceptre shall not depart from Judah. God kept the sceptre of authority and ruler's staff in that particular tribe until Shiloh come I.e until the appointed time for whom it was kept to rule and reign (Check other translation). Speaking about the Messiah, our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is unto Him that the gathering of His people shall be. The people there is not just one people, it's talking about all nations. The people groups on the face of the earth. The obedience of the nations shall be His. Multitudes of people from every tribes and tongues shall be gathered together unto Him to worship and serve Him. He will rule over the people with that sceptre of righteousness.

My Father and my God. I worship you, because you alone is worthy of my praise. I bring myself under the divine rulership of the King of kings and Lord of lords. I also pray that many nations shall be gathered to Him and that He shall rule and reign over the nations forever, in His most powerful name I pray. Amen!
