Believers ought to be an example in words and deeds. The nature of Christ in us, should be revealed to the unbelievers; there-by helping them to get close to know Jesus Christ  and also become like Him. A Christian is not being foolish, when failed to react outrageously to certain issues.

'The wrath of a man does not reveal the righteousness of God.' Believers must learn to always be calm to avoid stirring up conflicts. A hot-tempered person lacks patience to solve issues. Two individuals cannot be hot-tempered at the same time without a clash. Someone have to calm down to let peace reign.

'He that is slow to anger appeases strife.' There are provocations that seeks to stir up a quarel and sometimes people does that intentionally to look for trouble. Our minds must be daily renewed and have a consistent reminder that we are a new creature with an implication of not responding to issues according to the old pattern.

Patience which is one of the fruit of the Holy Spirit should manifest to calm a quarel and reveal Christ-likeness. Whenever, someone is stepping on the button to make you hot-tempered, be slow to anger in responding to such person and avert the intended plan of the enemy to engage you in strife in-order to soil your garment.

Lord Jesus, I thank you for the understanding of your word, which can help me to live above the traps of the enemy. I ask for grace and wisdom to be more patient in my dealings with people from day to day, in Jesus name. Amen!
