 _'Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:  1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:"_ 

 *#He has Rescued us from the Power of Darkness* 

The world is wrapped up in darkness. It is those who believe the gospel and receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior that are delivered from the dominion of darkness. Jesus Christ is the true light which lighteth every man that comes into the world.(John 1:9).

A life without Christ is in darkness and how great is that darkness! God has  translated believers from the domain of spiritual darkness to the kingdom of His Son who He loves. The translation must take place, before the strong influence of darkness would cease. The day you encounter Christ and gives your life to Him; It is the day power changed hands. 

It is in Christ Jesus that we have redemption, through his blood that was shed on the cross of Calvary, even the forgiveness of sins. You can have an assurance that your sins are forgiven, when you repent. The scriptures said, 'repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preach in His name among all nations.(Luke 24:47). Praise God for His great mercies and grace. He has finished the work on the cross, key into the victory by faith!

Father, I thank you for the power of resurrection made available to deliver me from the power of darkness. I pray for the grace to live victorious, all the days of my life, in Jesus name. Amen!
