Colossians 3:23
_"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 3:24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. 3:25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons._

One of the ways not to labour in vain is to be committed to serving with your whole heart. This is applicable to your circular job, especially when you are working as an employee. Be committed to whatsoever you do, as to the Lord.
Your service to humanity should not be in such a way, as you like but as pleasing to the Lord for you to receive a full reward. Your labour shouldn't only be focused on earning salary, there is something more to the work that you are doing; you're blessing lives by meeting their needs. Infact, the work that you are doing is a calling, if you are at the centre of the purpose of God for your life.
The level of your commitment to serve others is regarded as service unto the Lord, who will reward you beyond what you are receiving as income. 'Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.' The reward of men is perishable, but that of the Lord is imperishable and everlasting.
Whosoever, does wrong will receive their reward as well, there's no respecter of persons. Don't think you are smart cheating on others, the reward is kept for you in full. If you are not committed handling someone else work, who will give you that which is your own? God looks upon our hearts to recompense everyone, according to what we have done.
