Romans  5:8 

 _"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him."_ 

 *#God Commends His Love Towards Us* 

The love of God was demonstrated towards us, while we were undeserving. Jesus said, "For I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners unto repentance."(Matt. 9:13).

He came looking out for sinners, who are not worthy of the love of God but His wrath. It was while we were yet sinners that Christ died for us, to rescue us from the coming judgement of God. The love of God was fully commended towards us in Christ Jesus. 'For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.' (John  3:17-18)

God had compassion on His creation, when we were as sheep going astray seeking our own way and will. He redirected our steps back to the Shepherd and Bishop of our souls.(1 Peter 2:25)

The love that he showed us is unending in Christ. It changes our lives forever, through the conversion of our souls to become his children and heirs of his kingdom. 'Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.' Amen!

I'm grateful Father for the  great love demonstrated in Christ Jesus my Lord. I receive grace to remain in your love and also love you better everyday of my life in Jesus name. Amen!
