 _"Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.  127:2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep._ 

# *Achievements are Only Possible with God* 

Many atimes, we might be deceived by our intellectual capacity to achieve purpose in life. The resources needed to accomplish a task may be overflowing. You may have quite number of people around, which you can easily call for help in times of need, but may come to realize that except the LORD makes it possible, vain is the help of man. 

The children of Israel have been winning battles from places to places by the hands of the gallant army of Israel and came to Ai a small country and were defeated, because they have sinned against God and He was not longer involved in enforcing victory for them. 

Except the LORD the build a life, career, business, e.t.c they labour in vain that build it: They may seems successful at the moment, but it will turn to be vanity in the latter days, because it is not built on a solid foundation. 

The foundation of a life matters a lot, don't make worldly riches your foundation, it will shock you when it sinks. Lay your foundation on Christ the solid rock, all other grounds are sinking sand. Build your life and destiny on the knowledge of truth. Put God first in the journey of destiny, because true achievements in life are only possible with God.

Dear Father in heaven, help my life. I do not want to labour in vain, set my heart right. Help me to love you more than  silver or gold, in Jesus name. Amen!
