Hebrews 12:2
_"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds."_
*#Fix Your Eyes on Jesus*
Jesus is the author of the script and perfecter of our faith. He is the great model of faith and perfect example that we can follow. He was subjected to the same weakness of the flesh just as we, yet He was without sin. (2Cor. 13:4; Heb. 4:15)
His eyes was fixed on the joy, that was set before him. He willingly endured the cross by which He was crucified. He despised the shame, not allowing it to hinder Him from fulfilling purpose. He knew it was but for a moment. It was a criminal's death that he was offered, a very shameful death in Israel, all for the sake of you and me. He had us in mind, as he embraced the cross by which we were crucified unto the world and the world unto us. (Gal. 2:20, Gal. 6:14)
This same Jesus who suffered and died is now glorified through the power of resurrection. He is sitted at the right hand of the majesty of God, untill His enemies are made His footstool. (Psalm 110:1). Fix your eyes on Jesus, where He sit in the heavenly places. Consider His sufferings and compare the weight with yours. If, He could survived and overcome, definitely victory is also yours in Him. Never be weary and faint in your minds!!!
