Isaiah 53:4
_"Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."_
*#We are Healed by His Stripes*
Healing is fundamental in the gospel of the kingdom of God. It is children's bread. It has been purchased many years ago for anyone who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ. We were healed by His stripes, it is done and finished on the cross of Calvary.
Not only that, He took up our pain and sorrows. We thought that He was smitten and afflicted by God, according to the scripture. But, it was all for our sakes, that He suffered and went to the cross of Calvary. He was despised and rejected, wounded for our transgressions but His wounds provided healing for us, who have fled to take refuge in His name.
Many afflictions, sicknesses, and diseases were as a result of sin, but He has dealt with the barrier of sin on the cross. He crushed it power over us, that it may no longer have dominion over us. He received stripes for the charges, that the accuser of the brethren might laid hold on and make you qualify to receive divine healing.
You need to contend by faith, for what belongs to you in Christ Jesus by persisting in faith through the hearing of the word of God. Healing becomes automatic, when you walk in the confine of God's will for your life by obeying God's commandments. God's covenant will be activated and you shall live in sound health.
_"And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil. (Exodus 23:25-26)_
