James 5:13
_"Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him."_

The weapon of prayer is the right spiritual weapon to deal with afflictions. There are diverse afflictions, that the enemy uses to bind their targets on the same spot. You, as a believer should not be silent, when your life is under the attack of Satan. Wake up and pray, don't be too weak to pray.
If, you belong to a local church and you're sick don't hesitate to call for the prayer of elders. People who can join their faith with yours and bring you back on your feet, through the prayer of faith. It's quite unfortunate today, that a lot of Christians have become a lone ranger, dying silently without reaching out for quick help. It would have been sometimes too late, maybe at the point of death, before some will call out for help from the church. This is ignorance at work!
There are spiritual battles, which will take the anointing in the name of the Lord Jesus to break the yokes. Anointing oil mentioned in the above verses is symbolic and a point of contact for healing, it might not be a doctrine. The anointing of oil was instructed to be done in the name of the Lord, the name of the Lord is much more important not just the oil.
The prayer of faith shall save the sick and the Lord shall raise him up according to the scripture. There is provision for forgiveness of sins, which can be an hinderance to getting healed, provided the person confesses his/her sins, which he/she realize might be the cause for the affliction.

Father, have mercy upon me. I ask for your divine healing in every area of my life that is sick. Raise me up right now, and let all the glory be yours in Jesus name. Amen!
