Daniel 6:25
_"Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you. 6:26 I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end. 6:27 He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions."_
*#Revealing the Knowledge of God through an unfeigned Faith*
King Darius, was a gentile who was an alien to the God of Israel. Prior to his encounter with the God of Daniel, his kingdom has never worship nor served the living God. But, when he saw the miracle that the living God did for Daniel, he made a decree, 'that in every dominion of his kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel.'
Daniel revealed whom God that he serve is, when he stood by faith and in loyalty to the God of Israel. The presidents and princes of the kingdom could not find any occasion to bring Daniel down from been promoted by the king, except in the law of his God. They knew he prays three times daily to his God and sought ways to shut down that portal to make him become empty.
Daniel would not trade his relationship with God for mere worldly promotion. He continued to pray to his God, with his window opened wide 'not just in secret', after a decree was sent throughout the province that nobody should ask a petition from any God or man within 30days, except from the king; they wanted to finish Daniel within just 30days of not connecting with God.
The man Daniel was ready to face the consequences in loyalty to his God. He was thrown into the lion's den but the God whom he believed had gone ahead of him to shut the mouths of the lions, and they literally became his friends and could not harm him. The king was amazed at the marvelous work of the God of Daniel; the knowledge of the living God, dawn on the king through the unfeigned faith of Daniel. All the people in the kingdom of the king Darius, became converted to worship and serve the God of Daniel, whom he revealed to them practically. You can be like the man Daniel in your generation by knowing God and making Him known to the world.
