*#By the Same Word*

2 Peter  3:5 

 _"For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:  3:6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:  3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men."_ 

 *#By the Same Word* 

We understand through faith, that the worlds were framed by the word of God. (Heb. 11:3). The earth stood out in the midst of the waters by the ordinance of the word of God. (Gen. 1:9-10). At a particular time, 'the world that was then, being overflowed with water, perished;' during the days of Noah but Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord and his family became a new generation of human race on the surface of the earth. (Gen. 6:7-8)

The present heavens and the earth is reserved unto fire by the same living word of God, against the day of judgment and the destruction of the ungodly men. There is nothing that you see in this present world which last forever, except the word of God. 

"The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. (Isaiah  40:6-8).

The word of God is long preserved for our walk in this world. It is the incorruptible seed, through which we were birth into a living hope by the resurrection of Christ Jesus from the dead. (1Peter 1:3). It's by this word that those who flee to this hope shall be saved and by the same word, the world and the ungodly men shall be judged.

#PRAYER

Thank you everlasting Father for your abundant mercies available in Christ Jesus my Lord. I flee to this hope of salvation this day by the same word. I will not be an object of your wrath but of thy mercy, in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
