Hebrews 13:5
_"Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me."_
*#Be Content With Such Things as You Have.*
"But godliness with contentment is great gain." (1 Timothy 6:6)
The life that we received in Christ Jesus is more precious than silver nor gold. Don't trade your salvation for anything perishable in this world. Be content with such things as you presently have and avoid conversation, which promote covetousness and ungodliness.
We are in a 'now' generation, where everyone want to make it quick, without following the due process. The extravagant lifestyle of the worldly system has captured many young people's mind, making them to relentlessly pursue shadows, even at the cost of their own souls. 'What profits a man that gains the whole world and lose his soul?'
Many don't care about eternity. They don't live with eternity in view. Believers are the most miserable, if all that we set our minds on is in this world. The world and everything in it will soon fade away. It shall be engulfed with fire, without remedy.(2 Peter 3:7). We hope for the new heaven and earth, according to the promise of God. (2 Peter 3:13, Rev. 21:1).
Therefore, let's be content with whatsoever we have, for the Lord has promised that He will never leave nor forsake us. That, we may boldly say, He is our helper. Help will come, as you wait on the Lord. Whatever, God will do for you will last. Wait patiently, on the line for your lifting.
