John  15:12
 _This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.  15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends._

 *#Greater Love*

There is no deeper affection of love that exceeds the sacrifice of one's life for His friends. It's not a easy thing to give one's life, as a ransom for another person's life but the Lord Jesus Christ demonstrated this greater love, through His death on the cross. He died for the sins he never committed.

He was without sin, throughout his life time in the world, but He was insulted, wrongly accused, and charged to death, the kind of death meant for criminals (hung on a tree). He became a curse for us, that the blessings of Abraham might rest upon us (Gentiles).

He commanded us to love one another, just as he loved us. The greater love that he showed us was unconditional, because the scriptures said 'while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.' He died in hope of making our lives profitable someday. He loves you in particular, why do you doubt his love? As many that receive his love are debtors to show the same measure of love to fellow brethren.

We shouldn't be tired of showing love, even with the inadequacies of some brethren. Love never dies, it has hope in all kinds of situation. Resolve to love with all your heart and not to hate.

Thank you Jesus for the greatest love you showed me while I was astray. Thank you for bringing me unto yourself. Please, help me to love better than I do before, in Jesus name I pray. Amen
