Galatians  5:1
 _"Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage."_

 *#Stand Firm in the Freedom in Christ*

Christ has set us free from the rudiments of the world by sharing in His death through baptism. Why are you still subject to ordinances, such as touch not, taste not; handle not; which are all to perish with the using;) after the commandments and traditions of men. (colosians 2:20-22). There are traditions of men, that put people in perpetual bondage.

 _"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." (Colossians  2:8)_

We need to contend by faith for the freedom wherein we were made free in Christ. 'The law of the Spirit of life has made us free from the law of sin and death.' If we live and walk in the Spirit, we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. You have been set free to serve the living God and no longer a slave to fear or bondage of sin.

Stand firm in that liberty obtained in Christ Jesus, don't be enslaved again with the yoke of bondage. Resist evil, and embrace that which is good. Do not be deceived by 'sugar coated' doctrines of men, which has no root in the word of God. 'All things are lawful but not all are expedient.' Choose to practice that which is expedient for the edification and sanctification of your soul.

I give you praise Father this day. Thank you for the freedom which I have received in Christ Jesus my Lord. I receive grace and mercy to stand firm in this liberty, in Jesus name. Amen!
