Acts 4:26-28 (KJV)
The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.
For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,
For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.
*#Everything is Working Out for Good.*
The people of Israel with the Gentiles conspired against God's holy child Jesus, to kill him. They delivered him unto the hands of two powerful kings; Herod, and Pontius Pilate. As they gathered against the Lord, it was unknown to them that, they were just acting the script written about the Lord Jesus Christ, according to what the hand and counsel of God had determined before the time appointed to be done.
The Lord Jesus already known, what the purpose and counsel of God was for that time. He released himself unto them, as a Lamb before the shearer. They were pushing him from place to place, spite on him, scourged him and do whatsoever as it pleased them.
Peter out of ignorance, drew out his sword to fight back when the people came to arrest Jesus. He cut off the ear of one of the chief priest servants. The Lord rebuked him and made him to understand that, he could request from the Father twelve legions of Angels at that critical moment and it will be done but he needed not to do so, because he knew that the time for the fulfilment of that which was written about him has come.
"Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?" (Matthew 26:52-54 (KJV)
Brethren, believe that everything is working out for good. Align your life with the scriptures, as that which was written unfolds into reality. What the enemy meant for evil, the Lord meant it for your good. His thought towards you, is of peace not of evil, to give you an expected end. (Jer. 29:11)
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28 (KJV)
