Daniel 3:16
_Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. 3:17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. 3:18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up._
*#Daring Faith*
The three hebrew friends were in between two options; either to save their lives by compromising their holy faith to the God of Israel or maintaining their stand and loyalty and be at risk of getting thrown into the burning fiery furnace, if they failed to bow down before the golden image which Nebuchadnezzar has set up.
They dare to declare to the face of the king, that they are not careful to answer him in such matter. They knew the right thing to do and were ready to defend their faith in the living God and not their lives. They knew that the God whom they serve is surely able to deliver them and they confirmed it to the king, that He (God) will deliver them.
They didn't hesitate to also let the king know that, if peradventure their God in whom they trust decided not to deliver them, they are not ready to serve the gods of the king and worship before the golden image which he had set up.
It takes such a daring faith to stand for God. Loyalty to God unto the point of death. Our relationship with God should grow to such a level of commitment. Not serving God because of the only temporal things we can get from him. If your wish are not granted, will you still serve or worship God? Submit to the will of God and have not your own way. Allowing him to take the decision over our lives, whether to keep us still alive or call us home, when he is done with us in this life.
_"And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." (Matthew 10:28)_

Thank you Lord for my growing faith in you. Help my heart to be steadfast and firm to the end. I receive grace for daring faith, in Jesus name. Amen!
