1 Chronicles 28:20
20 David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished.
*#Be Strong and Courageous*
Finishing divine task requires us to be strong and very courageous. Courage is to keep pressing on in the face of adversity. Though, you know what maybe at stake I.e the challenges that may surface, yet committing yourself to shoulder the responsibility, let comes what may.
The turning stick knows the danger of getting into hot water but it is courageous enough to fulfill it purpose of stiring the yam flour. If the stick has a feeling and you could ask it how it feels, it will tell you that it wasn't easy at all but the challenges must not stop it from fulfilling it purpose, because it was made for that purpose. It will become useless and irrelevant, if it refuse to get the work done for the owner.
You need also to be strong and courageous to fulfill your ordained destiny. Life is not all bed of roses. It is full of thorns, trials, and challenges, but this should not be an hindrance to accomplish your purpose in the earth. The basis for your strength and courage is the promises of God. Though, you are quite aware of the troubles that lies around but you are also even conscious of God's promises, which supersedes all the troubles that can hold you back from doing his will.
If you are in the will of God, you are assured of His presence. Don't allow fear to grip your heart, when challenges come, respond to it by faith. It is just a test of faith. God has promised not to fail you nor forsake you. You have to constantly remember that. Going back is not an option, you keep your head up until you finish the race at the touch line. Don't give up, until you have accomplished your purpose. Be strong and courageous in the face of any discouragement. Make a choice not to get discouraged, until the work is finished. Jesus did exactly that, you can also through the abundant grace of God.
