*#It is Finished*

(We are inspire, get inspired!)

John  19:30

_"When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost."_

 *#It is Finished*

Jesus came to the earth on a mission to save the world. He had anticipated his death and resurrection, while he was doing ministry. He kept the mission of his coming, so dare to his heart.

At a particular time, 'Jesus began to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go into Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.' (Matt. 16:21)

'Then Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him.' Trying to say this is not your portion Lord. 'Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.' As good as that sounds in the ears and a show of love and concern for Jesus. The Lord saw the statement, as an opposition to the purpose why he had come to the world and he didn't see the words coming out from Peter per say but from Satan through Peter.

_"But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men." (Matthew  16:23)_

The focus of Jesus was on the things that be of God, and he will not tolerate whatever, which will hinder him from accomplishing the will of the Father. He became satisfied when all that was written concerning him were fulfilled on the cross, then he declared that, 'It is finished' and he gave up the ghost.

The work of salvation for the souls of men has been finished on the cross of Calvary. Jesus had said, 'And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.' (John  12:32)

He has perfected all plans for the salvation of men through his cross. The word 'It is finished' echoes in heaven, in earth and underneath the earth. He has triumphed over sin, death, and hades. He have the keys of hell and of death.

_"I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death." (Revelation  1:18)_

He has become the author of life and eternal salvation. He gives eternal life to anyone who comes to him. If you have not received him, here is an opportunity to surrender your life to Christ, that you may gain eternal life.

#God bless you

Lord Jesus, I glorify your name. I bow down my heart in humble adoration of who you are. Save my soul and many others, for which you died on the cross of Calvary, in Jesus name. Amen!
