Revelation  22:17

_And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely._

 *#Open Invitation*

I remembered some years ago while on campus, there was a ceremony that took place at the conference center and it was strictly by invitation. The fellowship I attended on campus had some slots. The organizer was one of the alumni of the fellowship. I was part of the brethren that went to represent the body. At the entrance, if you don't have an Invitation card, you will not be allowed to enter. You can just be roaming around the building, except you try to sneak inside but that will be difficult, because security was manning the post. The invitation was opened only to those who have the pass, not everybody can just troop in.

That, was for an earthly feast which was temporal, the ceremony has long time ago come and pass. The invitation of the Holy Spirit and the Bride is opened to everyone to come and take the water of life, which can never run dry and it is free of charge.

You can't buy the water of life. No amount of money can afford it, it is a free gift of God. It can satisfy every single soul. It can not be exhausted, it springs up into eternal life. (John 4:14)

It is not only the Spirit and the bride that are to invite people, everyone one that hears of this good news and have also tasted of the goodness of God are responsible to tell others to come. It is not what an individual can finish enjoying, it is a spring that is ever fresh. The scripture is talking about the living water, which is the Holy Spirit. (John 7:38)

He can quench your thirst. He only can satisfy your longing desire. He is the full answer to your quest. It is by choice not by force. He won't force himself on anyone. 'Whosoever, that will let him come'!

_"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." (John  6:37)_

The door is freely open now, but a time is coming when the door of grace will be shut against those who refused to accept the open invitation before the real event takes place. Similar case that happened in the story I shared, may take place at the wedding feast of the bride. Anyone, without the wedding garment will be cast into outer darkness; 'there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' (Matt. 22:12-13)

_"For many are called, but few are chosen." (Matthew  22:14)_

Be among the chosen!

#God bless you

#PRAYER
All the glory and honour be unto you Father. I do not take this marvelous invitation for granted. I come that I may take and be filled with the water of life right now, in Jesus name. Amen!
