Romans  10:17

 _So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.  10:18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world._

 *#The Hearing of Faith*

We have been discussing some series on faith. We have talked about confessions of faith and the transaction of faith. Now, we are talking about the hearing of faith.

The word of God is the guaranteed channel to hear the message of faith. You cannot be spiritually fit, if you only spend little time reading few verses of the scriptures a day or you don't even delight yourself in reading it at all.

Your devotional book is not a substitute for the word of God. There have not been any such book in history, that is as mighty as the scriptures. The word of God was written through God's given inspiration.

 _"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" (2 Timothy  3:16)_

You need the hearing of faith to survive and thrive in this world. '...and this is the victory that overcometh the world even our faith.' (1 John 5:4). You shouldn't be tired of hearing the message of faith again and again. That is where your victory lies in Christ Jesus. It is those who are full of faith that can do greater exploits. 'Heaven and earth may pass away but His word will never pass away or fail.'

#PRAYER
Dear Lord, thank you for drawing my heart to the hearing of faith by your word. Let my heart be filled with the message of faith, as I begin to spend more time to hear again and again from your living word, in Jesus name. Amen
