Joel  2:12

_"Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:  2:13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil."_

*#Turn to the LORD with all your Heart*

We have been talking about the presence of God. God wants man to live in his sight but sin interrupted God's plan. Yet, the LORD didn't give up on man but made adequate provision for our redemption through the perfect sacrifice of his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. The interruption of sin will soon be over and the redeemed shall forever live in the presence of God.

The full expectation of God is for man that has once strayed away from His presence to return with the whole of his heart and live again in his sight. The LORD himself is saying to everyone, "Turn ye even to me with all your Heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning."

The sincerity and genuineness of repentance must appear in our hearts, as we return to the Lord. 'Rend your heart and not your garment.' God looks at the intent of every man's heart, we cannot deceive Him. 'The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness.' He will have mercy upon us when we turn to him with all our hearts and He will repent of the evil he might have purposed, as a result of forsaken him. God's wrath is kindled, when wickedness is prolong among his people and they fail to turn to him at the proper time.

_"2 Corinthians  5:11  Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences."_

#God bless you

#PRAYER
Father, have mercy upon us as a nation and deliver us from evil. Be gracious unto us as we turn with all our hearts, in Jesus name. Amen!
