Leviticus 20:7
_Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God. 20:8 And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you._
*#Sanctified through the Truth*
The essence of our sanctification in Christ Jesus is to separate us from the old sinful way of life unto a new holy life, for the Lord God who have chosen us and draw us unto himself is holy.
The way to live in the divine nature unto which we are called is to sanctify ourselves. The moment you identify with Christ, a drastic change must occur in your life. There should be a notable difference from what you are before knowing Him.
Sanctification sets you apart for a holy purpose. It's a prerequisite for God to dwell in you and make your body his habitation. It's God's desire to dwell upon all the face of the earth and he has made of one blood to achieve this purpose in Christ Jesus. (Acts 17:26)
The truth of God's word sanctifies you as you keep it in your heart and practice it everyday.
_"And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth." (John 17:19)_
Christ sanctified himself for our sakes, that we might also be sanctified through the truth. The truth that sanctifies you makes the different.
