2 Corinthians 4:6
_"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that The excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."_
*#The Light of the Knowledge of God's Glory*
In the very beginning of creation, the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. (Gen. 1:1-2)
The next line of action was that, the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. It can be understood that waters dominate the face of the earth at that time, before God set firmament in the midst of the waters which he called heaven and divided the waters into two parts and gathered the waters under the heavens to one place and commanded the dry land to appear. (Gen. 1:7-9)
_"And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good."(Genesis 1:10)_
As, the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters, God commanded light to shine out of darkness and it was so. Now, he hath shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of our Lord Jesus Christ. The light appears in your heart, when you have an encounter with Jesus Christ by faith.
We have the light of the knowledge of the glory of God as a treasure in an earthen vessels, and the reason for that was clearly stated "that The excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

Thank you Lord for this great treasure you have put inside our hearts. Let others who are yet to find this treasure see the light of the knowledge of God's glory, as we preach the gospel everywhere, in Jesus name. Amen!
