_Matthew 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest._

The Master, first of all gave clarity on all the things that he has acquired of the Father and established the truth about the relationship between him and the Father. He said "all things are delivered unto me of my Father." There is absolutely nothing that you are looking for in the earth, that has not been delivered unto Jesus of the Father. Be it power, authority, healing, salvation, and prosperity. E.t.c
Jesus Christ, made us to understand the truth that, all that anyone could seek for in the earth is now at his disposal for the benefit of those who are helpless and struggling in this life. He gave out an open invitation to all who labour and heavy laden, with a promise that he will give them rest. He was sent by the Father, for this purpose.
The labour and heavy loads upon your neck is a curse. You have to recognise that, so that you can be easily free from the yokes. There are generational inherited curses which ought to be broken. The labour pain in child bearing was a curse, inherited from the first generation when Eve was deceived to eat the forbidden fruit and since then, the experience has been trans-generational.
_"Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee."_
There are people, that are experiencing trouble upon trouble in their family blood line, being choked under the heavy loads of poverty and afflictions. Many times, you might have tried your best to deliver yourself from it but you still just find yourself back in it. It's not ordinary, you need to come to that rest, which Jesus has promised.
_"Hebrews 4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it."_
There is a promise that has being left for us, though Jesus Christ has ascended back to heaven but the promise is still standing for everyone that are left in the earth to enter into his rest. It's possible to come short of it, that's why we should fear lest the rest promised elude us. The hinderance to enter into this rest has always been the absence of 'faith'. The word was preached unto the people of old but it did not profit them, because it was not mixed with faith in them that heard it. How do you see the word of promise today? Does it mixed with faith in your heart or you want to keep on doing the labour and carrying the heavy loads about? Today is your day, surrender all to Jesus.

Lord Jesus, I come before thy throne of grace. I seek for the rest that only you can give me, nothing in this world can satisfy my thirst and hunger. Satisfy me with your goodness and mercy, in Jesus name. Amen!
