_Mark  12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:  12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.  12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these._

 *#The Summary of God's Commandments*

The ten commandments given by Moses in the Old Testament was summarized into two parts by our Lord Jesus Christ in the new testament. The first part was on God's aspect, while the other part was on the aspect of our relationship with our fellow human beings. He revealed the powerful force of love, which upholds the commandments on both sides.

The summary of God's commandments is love. Jesus, clarified that, he didn't come to abolish the law but to fulfill it. Love was the driven force, for the fulfillment of the laws of God. Love is a mystery, which keeps us away from committing sin against God and hurting our neighbors.

The first priority of love must be directed towards the creator of heavens and the earth. Nothing, that we are or have should we reserve from the creator. We are to love him with the whole of our hearts, souls, minds and strength. And, if truly we love him, we will not want to do anything that is against His commandments.

Joseph, when tempted to sleep with the wife of his master with an open appeal from the woman; he said, 'how can I do this great wickedness and sin against God.' (Gen. 39:9) That, was a man that loved the Lord his God with all his heart. He would not allow anything to disrupt his relationship with God. He left his clothes behind, when the woman would not let him go easily. He ran out of the house naked and even suffered for the sin he didn't commit but what matters most to him was his fellowship with God. He was satisfied, as long as that fellowship is unbroken with his God.

The second part of the commandments is towards our neighbors. You cannot say that you love God, whom you cannot see and hate your neighbor that you can see. Human beings are created in the image and the likeness of God. God expects that love should exist among ourselves. If you genuinely love your neighbor, you will not lust after their them to commit fornication or adulteries with them. You'll not also lust after their property to covet, steal, greed and kill to get it to your side.

I read in the news recently, that a young man killed his brother in order to inherit his iPhone. Imagine that kind of a situation? This is such a generation, which we have find ourselves. Many great wickedness and atrocities are being committed, claiming alot of innocent souls.

Love is what we need to prevail over evil in this world and God has shed it abroad in the heart of every new testament believer by the Holy Ghost. (Rom. 5:5). Let's walk in love, so as not to fulfill the lust of the flesh, as the scriptures as said.

#God bless you

#PRAYER
Thank you Jesus for the love that is shed abroad in my heart by the HolyGhost. May your love shine forth in my heart, so that I can have dominion over sins and the works of the flesh, in Jesus name. Amen!
