_8:10 And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was therein, and sanctified them. 8:11 And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all his vessels, both the laver and his foot, to sanctify them. 8:12 And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him._
*#Sanctified by the Anointing.*
Let's, first of all observe what was anointed by Moses in the above verses of the scripture that we read. The tabernacle and all that was therein was anointed, the anointing oil was sprinkled on the altar seven times. All the vessels of the altar were also anointed. Then, he also poured anointing oil upon the head of Aaron to sanctify him.
The anointing of God is first of all for sanctification, to set a life or vessels apart unto God for a holy use. Every, vessels that will be useful in God's service must be sanctified by the anointing. Any vessel without sanctification is more or less a resounding gong. Someone, may even be performing all manner of miracles in Jesus name, but at the end the Lord will deny that he do not know the person.
_"Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."_
We need to be consecrated by the anointing, in order for our sacrifices to be acceptable before God. Every work will be revealed by fire, and any work that doesn't measure to God's standard will be burnt. (1Cor. 3:13-15).
_"2 Timothy 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work."_
There are certain things that a man must be purge from to be a vessel unto honour, sanctified and meet for the Master's use. It's not all vessels that are meet for the Master's use. The exception are the vessels sanctified by the anointing.

Father, sanctify me by the anointing. Make me meet for the Master's use. Purge away, those things that will not make me a vessel unto honour, in Jesus name. Amen!
