_Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing._
*#The Lord your God is With You*
In the light of whatever that you are passing through as a human being, you must have this assurance as a believer that the Lord in the midst of you is mighty, which means that he has the capacity to save and deliver you from the situations that are stronger than your ability.
You are limited as a human being on earth, there is a limit to what your physical strength can take, there is a limit to which your intellect can provide a way out. That's why, you need the God of heaven and the earth to cross over certain bridges of life.
In the journey of faith of the Israelites, through the wilderness. They had just left the land of Egypt by the strong hand of the almighty God, through many signs and wonders performed by Moses, the servant of God. As the Israelites journeyed, Pharaoh was not ready to give up on releasing them totally in his mind. He decided to pursue them with his chariots, horses, and his army in order to get them back into captivity. The Israelites couldn't longer make progress, as they got to the red sea. And, the people started grumbling and complaining. Regretting, that Moses brought them out of the land of Egypt. Claiming, that they had cucumber to eat in Egypt and that they sat with the pot of flesh to enjoy. It was like saying to Moses and we told you before o, that you should have left us alone, so that we can keep enjoying our lives as a slave in Egypt. But, you have brought us here, to make us perish in the wilderness.
Moses was confused, he didn't initially know what to do, I.e how to solve the problem. The Egyptians were almost catching up with them, but along the line God has been working behind the scenes. God separated the weather between the Egyptians and the Israelites by the pillar of cloud and of fire. Sometimes, when the Egyptians are experiencing night, the Israelites could make progress by the help of the pillar fire in the night, so that the Egyptians can never catch up with them. He led the Israelites by the pillar of cloud in the day.
_"Exodus 14:15 And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: 14:20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night."_
The Lord thy God, who is in the midst of thee is mighty, he will save you as he saved his people the Israelites in the midst of the red sea. The Lord told them to go forward; the interpretation is that the red sea before you is not a barrier that can stop my purpose. What a mighty God we serve? Moses stretched out his rod as God instructed him and the red sea parted into two, and an highway was suddenly created supernaturally in the midst of the sea for the Israelites to pass and they indeed all pass over and the moment the Egyptians stepped in, God asked Moses to stretch forth the rod back and he did. Suddenly, the waters returned back to it position and all Egyptians that drove in to the midst of it all perished. The same Lord your God is with you today and he will rejoice over you with joy, as he has said.
