*#A More Excellent Name*

Hebrews
_1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they._
*#A More Excellent Name*
Jesus, obtained a more excellent name through the sacrifice that he paid for the salvation of the world, being made much better than the angels. At first, by natural birth he was made little lower than the angels, he surfaced in the earth with the appearance of a man. He was born in the nature and likeness of human beings and was subjected to the same weakness of the flesh.
He was tempted, like any man would but yet without sin. He loved righteousness and hated iniquity and the Lord his God anointed him with oil of gladness above his fellows. He was crown with eternal glory, after he had suffered and became obedient unto death even the death of the cross. He didn't strive for any reputation while he was here on earth, though being in the brightness of God's glory and the express image of his person. He humbled himself and stoop low to wash the feet of his disciples, showing them the model for servant-leadership, which is the ladder to the top level of greatness.
Having purged our sins by himself, he returned back to heaven with a more excellent name and sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high. His name was approved by God for every believer to call upon and get result. "Whosoever call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, shall be saved." Those, who still worship angels or pray in their names lacks understanding.
_"Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."_
'At the mention of the name of Jesus, every kneel shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord.' The name of Jesus carry such an authority to dismantle every works of darkness in your life and nation. Use that name effectively, because that name is honoured both in the physical and spiritual realm.

Father, I thank you for the powerful name of Jesus. I believe that His name is full of power and Authority. May his excellent name work out signs and wonders in my life and give me a breakthrough now in Jesus name. Amen!
