_1:15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate._
*#Purified Mind and Conscience.*
We need to have a purified mind and conscience for our christian life to be effective. The mind must be renewed by the word of God. Our mind and conscience has been battared by sinful thoughts, while we were yet sinners. It is our spirit man, that got born again when we confess Christ Jesus as our Lord and Savior. The old mindset will interfere with the new life that we have received, if we don't allow the word of God to deal with it and change it from time to time. This is the essence of sanctification.
_"John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth."_
_Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?_
Our conscience must be purge from dead works, in order to serve the living God acceptably. All things are pure unto the pure. But, if the mind is corrupt, it will be difficult to see things the right way. The world is corrupt, because of the issues of life that comes out of the mind and conscience that is defiled.
_"Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:"_
_"Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life."_
Some people profess to know God, but deny Him in works. Your believe and cofession about God is not enough, it must reflect in your actions. The devils also believe, that there is one God and tremble.(James 2:19).
Allow, the Man of Calvary to work daily on your mind. The blood that He shed on the cross is sufficient to purge your mind from every impurities and your conscience from every dead works.

Thank you eternal Father, for the precious blood of your beloved son, Jesus, which was shed to purify my mind and conscience. I'm set free today, from every evil thoughts. I'm sanctify by the truth, my life shall not remain the same, in Jesus name. Amen!
