1 Timothy
6:1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed. 6:2 And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
#Masters are Worthy of Honour.
We are in such a time, where many servants no longer give the best regards to their masters. Some are just respecting their boss, because of the money they will collect at the end of the month as salary. The service that you render, should not just be for the sake of the money that you'll earn. Your master is worthy of all honour according to the scripture. If you also aim to reach that level one day, you must be submissive.
Pride kills glory fast. A lot of people cannot maintain their success at the top, because of the foundational problem, when they were servants. There are things they have done, which they are now also reaping. A servant must be extraordinary careful.
Gehazi dishonoured his master Elisha by running after Naaman to collect something from him, after Elisha rejected his gifts. (2Kings 5:20) The end result was leprosy for Gehazi.
_"2 Kings 5:26 And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants? 5:27 The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow."_
Some people despise their spiritual leaders, but eagerly obey their master in the circular because money is attached. The people who have spiritual oversight over you, have a higher authority than those in the circular. Though, the authority that the church has must not be abused. It must be for the edification of the body of Christ.
Disobedience is more rampart in churches today, because people has little or no regards for their pastors and leaders and it is affecting the progress of the church as a body. The enemy is sowing a seed of rebellion against the unity of the church. There are proud men, who are not ready to serve others.
The servant leadership is the way up, being ready to serve others even though you are a leader. Some people are not ready to work under anybody in order to avoid the humble experience of a servant. But, it is the best platform to become a great person in life. You can be as great as your master, if you are a good follower.
_"Luke 6:40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master."_

Thank dear you Lord, for the understanding that you have given me. I receive the grace to be submissive and get to the desire level of greatness that you have in plan for me, in Jesus name. Amen!
