🌀 *THE PORTALS DAILY INSPIRATION. 120120* Micah _6:7 Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?_ *#THE LORD HAS SHOWED YOU WHAT IS GOOD* The essence of our spiritual birth is to be able to do what is right and that which pleases God. There are sacrifices that are offered, inorder to obtain favour from the sight of God but it doesn't please him. He's not interested in the gifts of sinners and unjust person. Our material possession cannot ransom our lives. I heard a story of a man on internet, who said he will build a house in Europe for any man of God, who can heal his leg. God is not interested in that kind of offering. You cannot buy the gift of God. It is free of charge. It is not until you offer something, that God can heal you. He is not pleased with 'thousands of rams.' Run from any so called man of God, that is making a demand before he can minister the grace of God. Note that, there's nothing wrong to bless men of God but it should not be as if, you are trying to make a bargain for the gift of God. Apostle Peter, rebuked the man that was trying to offer money for the baptism of the Holy Ghost. _"Acts 8:18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, 8:19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. 8:20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money."_ The Lord has showed us what is good and his requirements in the word of God, to access all things that he had made for our benefits. Stop being deceived and get to know the truth and you shall be free indeed. He require of every man in the new testament to repent and believe the gospel. And the three virtues in our main text, must find expression in our lives. He requires of us 'to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God.' #God bless you #PRAYER I thank you Lord, for being gracious to show me what is good and what you require of me to do in order to please you.
