2 Corinthians

_8:5 And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God._

*#The First Acceptable Gift to God*

It's good to render services to God, doing one thing or the other but the first reasonable service is the presentation of our bodies as a living sacrifice.

_"Romans  12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service."_

God is beckoning on us this year, that we should make ourselves available, so that we can be his habitation, where he can dwell. The first acceptable gift to God is our own selves. He needs you and not just your money and other religious services. He provided for all creation, He is all in all.

Have you present yourself to God, before you presented yourself to your pastor to serve in one area or the other? Does God know you? Do you align yourself to His will and purpose for your life? You may claim to know God but He doesn't know you. Christianity is a mutual relationship and fellowship between you and God.

_"2 Timothy  2:19  Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity."_

Every, other sacrifices that we do without our lives being acceptable to God is useless and irrelevant. It has no record in heaven. Jesus told the disciples that they should not rejoice because demons obeyed them, but they should rejoice because their names are written in heaven.

The first thing we must strive for is to have an identity with God, every other things must follow suite. It's your life first, before any ministerial work. If your life is not in order, be assured that any service that you offer will be nothing but disorder. Give yourself to Christ, then every other things will be in place.

#God bless you

#PRAYER
I'm grateful Father, for the great opportunity to know you as a Father, I repent of all my sins and present my body to you as a living sacrifice. Let my identity be clarify by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, in His name I pray. Amen!
