📖 📖 📖 Text (Leviticus  6:12)

 _'And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.'_ 

 

🔮 TOPIC: *The Altar and the Fire*

 The altar is a sacred platform where sacrifice is being offered. The fire upon the altar is significant to the functionality of the Altar. An Altar becomes irrelevant without sacrifice been offered with fire. The altar is not meant to be cold, the fire must be sustained to preserve the relevance of the altar. The moment a sacrifice is roasted with fire, it becomes a fragrance that is a sweet smelling savour. An altar is literally dead without fire. The power of an altar can only be effective, when there's a fire upon it. 

The altar must be serviced to keep it relevant. You must not let the fire upon your altar to be put off. The fire upon the altar must be burning in it. In the new testament, you are the priest of your own altar. Put the things that will make the fire to keep burning on the altar every morning. Don't skip your quite time with God, you're causing more harm to your altar if you do. The fire will be going off gradually. It, may not happen suddenly but with time the fire goes off. There are contentions over your altar to quench the fire. 

The altar is where you gain spiritual power to dominate and rule your world. You become empowered to fulfill purpose. Don't let your altar be empty of fire. The altar become powerless, when it lacks fire. There are altars that are damaged because of the presence of sin. Such altars can not hold fire. The altar needs to be repaired before the fire will descend upon it. There are fire that are gradually going out already. The moment the things of God or spiritual exercise doesn't excite you, it's a sign that you are losing the fire. Also, when you're committing sin and your conscience didn't prick you, it's a danger zone and the fire is already going. The altar and the fire matters to your destiny.
