📖 📖 📖 TEXT (Psalms  33:18-22)

 _'Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.'_ 

🔮 TOPIC:*He's Our Help and Shield*

The LORD is watching from above to see the hearts of people who are inclined towards Him, whom He can help. The fear of the LORD positions you to receive mercy from the Lord. This is the way you can draw the attention of God towards you for divine help and lifting. The eyes of the LORD are upon those who hope for His mercy. He will never leave nor forsake you. We should be courageous in good times and bad times, because God never quits. He does not exit, even when everyone leaves you and you feel lonely. 

The Lord sets His eyes upon His people that love and fear Him to deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine. They will not be swallowed up by the sword or famine. There will be timely help and the Lord will be a shield round about His people to protect them from evil and danger. Let your soul waits for the Lord, no matter what you are passing through. Hold on to God in good faith, because He's our help and shield. 

Our hearts shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in Him. Faith in God brings great joy and hope. He will make His mercy to fall upon us, as we hope in Him. God has never fail and never let anyone that put their trust in Him down. He will not fail in your turn. Let your faith rest on the platform of patience and hope, so it will not fall off. God is faithful and makes everything beautiful in its own time.

Thank you Lord for the encouragement I found in your word. Be thou, my help and shield in Jesus name. Amen!
