Seeking Favour from God*

'O LORD, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king's cupbearer. (Nehemiah 1:11)

🔮  *Seeking Favour from God* 

Nehemiah, was the king cup bearer and he needed a favor from his master, but didn't go to him directly to seek for favour. He might have assumed that, because he was closed to him, he would definitely get the favor with ease. But, this was a man with understanding that the heart of a king is in the hand of God. Therefore, he took the matter first to God. He tendered the request before God, as a petition before he approached the king to make his request. 

He first of all sought for the attention of God, before looking for the attention of men. Many times, we get disappointed with men, because we have failed to first of all get the attention of God. There are things that seems simple and easy, but if it does not get the approval of God, it will look difficult and tough. Believers, must learn this secret of winning in the secret place of prayer. Acknowledge the supremacy of God over everything. There's nothing impossible for the Lord. He can speak to kings on your behalf, if you will talk to Him first. He knows exactly, how to handle your matters, if you will put it in his cares. 

The Lord is a burden bearer. He's willing to carry all your burdens, because He cares for your soul. Your present status does not matter. The request might look so big and you might be afraid in taking a step. If, you will seek favour from the Lord, the mountain that look so great will become leveled. I don't know where you have been expecting favour, but listen by the word of the Lord that the Lord will grant you mercy and favour in the sight of the person or organization, as you humble yourself to seek God first. The Lord will do beyond your expectations this new month.

I bless your holy name Lord, for thou art great in power and wisdom. I seek you Lord with my whole heart, grant me favour every where I go in Jesus name. Amen! 🙏
